Abstract:This study was conducted based on the double-shield TBM-hard rock tunneling project of Shenzhen Metro Line 8. The external pressure on tunnel and inner force of segment during the tunnel construction were investigated, the time-dependent mechanical indicators of TBM tunnel segment were revealed. According to the investigating results, the external pressure on tunnel mainly goes through four stages. Because of the strong influence of grouting pressure on inner force of segment during the construction, the maximum of grouting pressure should be considered in the design of TBM segment, and the amount of grout should be adjusted in time based on the investigated pressure. In term of the deep tunnels, there is no clear relationship between inner force of structure and tunnel depth, but higher upper vertical pressure of tunnel due to the worser weathering of rock has a more significantly impact on the inner force of tunnels.
