Abstract:A novel control system of the connected structure was proposed to improve the problem of the vibration control of the rigid connected structure. The corresponding differential equation of vibration and the extended state equation of random response for the system were derived, and the position of the damping layer and the corresponding parameters were investigated. Research has confirmed the good damping performance of the new control system. The analysis also shows that the optimal parameters obtained by the simplified two-degree-of-freedom model are too large, and it is recommended to use the optimized values of the multi-degree-of-freedom model; The stiffness parameters of the damping layer have a significantly impact on the damping effect in a large distribution range, but the excessive value is detrimental to the damping effects;The damping parameters of the damping layer also contributes a lot to the improvement of the damping performance, and there exists an optimal value; The position of the damping layer has a significant influence on the response suppression of the structure, and the effect is even greater when it is set at a lower story; It is suggested to retain a certain stiffness value of the damping layer to keep the drift in a rational range.
