Abstract:Considering the Mindlin stress solution additional stress field and the deformation distribution characteristics of pile group foundation, and the difference effect of additional stress in the projection area of pile, this paper presents a new method for calculating the homogenized additional stress of pile group foundation. According to the conceptualization model for specific shaft resistance distribution, the foundation pile homogenization stress coefficient table is given under the condition of different ratio of length to diameter and different pile spacing, thus an effective simple method is provided for the additional stress calculation in settlement analysis of group piles foundation. The proposed calculation method is verified by some engineering examples. The analysis results by the equivalent calculation method are compared with those by the Boussinesq deep foundation calculation method and equivalent calculation method. The analysis results agree well with each other, which proves the effectiveness of the proposed method.
