Fabricated zero initial cable force friction dissipation re-centering brace is proposed. It has simple structure and the functions of energy dissipation, re-centering, avoiding the loss of prestress. Theoretical analysis of seismic performance is made. The results showed that, there is no stiffness degradation in the loading process, and the brace has full hysteretic curve, stability energy dissipation law. When the re-centering process stops, relaxing high strength bolts of brass-slots steel friction plates dissipation can let the brace back to zero displacement. So the brace has excellent re-centering function.
