Abstract:Tool wear has always been a key issue affecting the construction quality and progress of shield construction, which is particularly evident in sandy gravel formation. In order to study the abrasive law of shield tunnel hob in sandy gravel formation, This article relies on Line 1 and 7 of Chengdu Metro, Firstly, the influence of tunneling parameters and the unevenness of sandy gravel formation on hob wear were analyzed, the various factors that affect the amount of hob wear were summarized| And then simulate the scene situation to prepare the interior rock box model, the wear test of different tool layout was carried out by means of the hobbing machine, the amount of wear of the hob is measured by a 3D scanner, the wear coefficient is calculated from the wear model, the abrasive law of tool in the sandy gravel formation is obtained| Finally, the results are compared with the field results, they roughly agree with each other. The coefficient of wear was measured by laboratory tests, and applied to the field measurement, the longest excavation distance is deduced, it can be more accurate prediction tool wear serious when the shield machine driving distance without the opening check, the wearing degree of the hob can be judged, and the construction time is saved. It provides some reference and guidance for shield tunneling in sandy gravel formation.
