Abstract:Nowadays, the shield has been widely used in the subway construction. Study on the shield in round gravel strata is much less than shield in sand gravel ground and soft soil. Based on the San Shi San Zhong-Su Lu section of Nan ning metro line 2, the paper makes the contrast analysis about the boring parameters between water-soaked round gravel strata and complex strata, and discusses the calculation method for the supporting pressure. The following results are obtained. In the water-soaked round gravel strata, the promoting pressure, torque and grouting pressure are similarity, however, support pressure increases with distance. In the complex strata, the fluctuation of promoting pressure, torque and grouting pressure are more complex, but support pressure is stable. Comparing the calculated value and measured value of support pressure, Terzaghi loosening earth pressure for calculating value is more reasonable than others. The paper shows that ground surface settlement is smaller than 5mm, and the boring parameters of San Su possesses reference meaning in the shield construction of round gravel strata.
