Abstract:Thermal conductivity is an important parameter of the thermal properties of geotechnical materials, the rubber sand mixture is studied by a large number of hot needle test. The influence of sand content, water content and dry density on thermal conductivity is analyzed in detail. The test results show that when the sand content is less than 20%, the thermal conductivity of rubber mixture sand increased gradually, but the sand content is more than 80%, the thermal conductivity immediately higher rate of increase; with the increase of the dry density, thermal conductivity of growth in low sand rate shows a linear growth in the present, with a high rate of sand when the oak; Changes of rubber sand mixture thermal conductivity and water content can be divided into growth region and stability, 6% moisture content can be used as the critical moisture content. The study can provide thermal parameters, a more reasonable light around geothermal related structure backfill material in addition, effective utilization of waste tires can reduce environmental pollution and promote sustainable infrastructure.
