Monitoring and simulation analysis of deep and large foundation pit excavation in complex environment

Abstract:This paper takes an example of a deep foundation pit project in Lanzhou, the excavation depth is 17.70~19.10m, the foundation pit project mainly adopts secant pile and prestressed anchor supporting structure, locals use soil nailing wall. According to the soil around the foundation pit, supporting structure and adjacent building monitoring data and numerical simulation of foundation pit excavation, analysis in the process of the excavation deformation properties and the influence of excavation on nearby buildings. It is found that the deformation of the foundation pit support structure, the surrounding soil around the foundation pit and the adjacent buildings are mutually affected during the excavation process; the structural traits of the foundation pit support structure should be avoided sudden changes; the supporting structure of secant pile wall and prestressed anchor bolt is suitable for deep and large foundation pit projects in complex environment in Lanzhou. Finally, the excavation process of foundation pit is simulated by means of Plaxis3D finite element software, and the simulation results are basically consistent with the measured monitoring results, but the research on the Secant pile needs to be further studied. Complex the deep and large foundation pit retaining structure deformation of the surrounding buildings had good control effect, for similar foundation pit project provides a good case in Lanzhou, to design the project of deep foundation pit under complicated environment.
