Abstract:The adsorption layer of low elevation greenbelt in roadway of sponge city can purify the pollution in urban roadway stormwater effectively and manage the stormwater runoff at the same time. The adsorption characteristics of different adsorption material of adsorption layer for COD and heavy metals Pb, Zn, Cd, Ni were investigated by adsorption isothermal tests. The results indicate that the optimized mass ratio for coal-based activated carbon and steel slag is 9∶1. Adsorption kinetics test shows that the order of the time of adsorption equilibrium is Pb, COD, Ni, Zn, Cd. The pseudo-second-order equation provides the best correlation to the experimental data for all the contamination. The results of falling head-water-rising conductivity test show that the best mass ratio for sand, coal-based activated carbon and steel slag is 80∶18∶2, and the saturated permeability coefficient of adsorption layer filler with the degree of compaction of 90% is 1.60×10?6m/s, which meets the requirement.
