Abstract:As the cofferdam of bridge pile in the aquatic environment, Steel casing is more widely applied, steel pipe concrete composite pile is formed by steel casing and reinforced concrete piles. There is a huge difference between the horizontal bearing characteristics of the steel pipe concrete composite pile and reinforced concrete pile. Aimed at the steel pipe concrete composite pile in in the aquatic environment, the steel pipe depth and the steel pipe soil compaction zone soil modulus are selected as analysis variables, steel pipe concrete composite pile horizontal bearing characteristics is studied by centrifuge model tests, soil resistance curve, H-y curve and moment curve of steel pipe concrete composite pile are obtained. The result shows: Horizontal bearing characteristics of steel pipe concrete composite pile can be increased obviously when the steel pipe depth is increased in 12m; Horizontal bearing characteristics of steel pipe concrete composite pile is increased very small when the steel pipe depth is increased out of 12m and steel pipe soil compaction zone soil modulus is increased. The design and construction of steel pipe concrete composite pile are supported by the result of centrifuge model tests.
