Abstract：With the investigation of karst tunnel in operation period, it is found that the blockage of drainage system caused by percolation crystallization of carbonate can not be ignored , then based on the investigation and analysis of the diseases such as crystal pipe plugging and leakage of lining structure in karst tunnel, discusses the safety problems of lining structure which may be induced by the construction and operation of tunnel in karst area. It is pointed out that the main technical problems in karst tunnel construction and later operation will be water leakage and water erosion. The above views are expected to provide technical ideas for solving the related problems induced by crystallization plugging in karst tunnel.
