Abstract:Shaking table test to simulate the earthquake shaking the circulating fan was conducted, and the whole dynamic properties of circulating fan of the structure, dynamic response of each measuring points and the differences of other performance behaviors before and after the test were obtained. Shaking table test mainly included two parts, one was 2 times white noise tests at the beginning and at the end of test, and another was the dynamic time history excitation test under 5 OBE cases and 1 SSE case. In addition, this paper discussed the requirements of artificial ground motion. After several times shaking on the circulating fan, based on the white noise tests, the whole natural frequencies and damping ratios had no change and the structure is of no damage; Based on the analysis to results of dynamic history response, the dynamic amplification factors of each measuring point were larger when the OBE cases occurred than the SSE case, and the factors are increased as the increment of distance to the facet of shaking table. Under inspection of the circulating fan after the test, the other performance behaviors of structure, such as pressure, air volume, air impermeability, starting time and running power, perform well under the all cases.
