Abstract:The experimental study on bearing capacity of short grouted single mortise-tenon joints under eccentric compression condition was conducted. The characteristics of M-θ curves, development law of cracks and distribution characteristics of concrete and steel stress are investigated. The final failure mode of the joints are obtained and the proportion rules of bearing capacity for main bearing stage are concluded. The flexural behaviors of the short joints with different grouting materials and different loading conditions are compared and the influence laws of different factors on short joints are obtained. Furthermore, the bearing behavior, crack development and joint deformation are compared between the long joints and the short joints. Finally, the bearing mechanism and application condition of short joints are revealed, which can provide reference for the design of similar structures.
