Abstract:Finding suitable structure materials to withstand deep-penetration weapons is a key issue in current engineering protection. Under the same impact condition, the comparative tests are carried out by using three types of structure materials, namely C40 steel reinforced concrete, high-strength granite and steel reinforced ultra-high-strength concrete. The test results show that, the steel reinforced ultra-high-strength concrete is an excellent anti-penetration material, as its penetration depth is only 22% of C40 steel reinforced concrete and 41% of high-strength granite, respectively. Based on the test results, the material coefficients of Bierezan penetration formula and the response function control parameters of fast penetration simulation were obtained. Furthermore, the comparative tests were extended to BLU-113 and other penetration warheads, and the key data such as penetration depth were obtained. The research results provide a reference for material selection and anti-penetration design of steel reinforced ultra-high-strength concrete.
