The horizontal connection for double-superimposed shear wall is an important part utilized to transfer shear and vertical forces, and the indirect overlapping splicing is adopted for the horizontal connection. The hysteretic characteristics, displacement ductility coefficient, stiffness degradation, bearing capacity degeneration and energy dissipation behavior of double-superimposed shear wall horizontal connection and cast-in-place horizontal connection were discussed based on an experimental study on six double-superimposed shear wall horizontal connections and two cast-in-place horizontal connections subjected to the combined actions of reversed cyclic shear loads and vertical loads. The test results show that the shear crack may occur at interfaces between grouting layer and the lower or upper walls, the bearing capacity and seismic performance indicators of the double-superimposed shear wall horizontal connection were close to those of cast-in-place horizontal connection.
