Abstract:Pile foundation beneath the basement of the high-rise building will be influenced by the construction of adjacent tunnel. The working state of the piles affected by the excavation is different with it that under direct loading condition on the top of the piles. Besides, the response of the piles to tunnel construction is also different. This paper is based on Mindlin solution and explicit algorithm, and introduces the hypoplastic pile-soil surface constitutive to establish a numerical analysis model. Considering the influence of excavation and prefabricated pile construction and the initial residual stress of the pile, the working load is applied to obtain the internal force and deformation of the pile during the working state. The tunnel excavation displacement field based on the Loganathan-Poulos solution is introduced. The results show that the numerical simulation results are in good agreement with the centrifuge test results. The tunneling could induce obviously larger displacements of the pile beneath a basement than the pile without excavation effect. The distributions of the frictional resistance are also different between the two cases.
